7:00 preview totals at my theater:

 

Pacific Rim: 78/113

Midnight Sun: 12/78

Unsane: 2/67

 

That is fucking MASSIVE for Pacific Rim and almost what Kingsman and Blade Runner did across 3-4 shows :ohmygod: The 3D show in 75 minutes is looking pretty good too, although the late 2D show is empty right now. I'll have full comps up after the 3D show begins.

Midnight Sun is at 150% of Every Day (4.5M). Obviously that's not strong, but it's better than some of our 3M expectations. The late show is currently empty.

That is absolute shit for Unsane. The late show has 2 tickets sold, so using the total of four tickets right now, it's at 30% of Strangers (3.1M). This is going to be Soderbergh's lowest wide opening of his career by a significant margin :jeb!:

The 3D show of Pacific Rim is finishing with 34/69 for a total tonight of 112/182. The late show has sold one ticket, so I'll group that into these comps:

 

11% of The Last Jedi (24.2M)

23% of Black Panther (46.5M)

35% of Justice League (32.8M)

140% of Blade Runner (45.9M)

140% of Kingsman (54.6M)

 

Keep in mind my county is on Spring Break right now. I don't have many summer comps saved, but the significantly better performance than BR and Kingsman has me thinking :thinking:

I'm a bit surprised WIT has more screens than BP

For Week 3:

 

~ 400 more theaters than Tomorrowland  (3012)

~ 500 more theaters than Alice 2  (2898)

~ 200 more theaters than John Carter (3212)

====

~ 400 less theaters than Cinderella 2015 (3815)

~ 400 less theaters than Oz (3805)

 

Could have been a much harsher drop for AWiT.  Be interesting to see what happens with RPO coming out on Thr, though, when it sucks up 4000+ theaters.

Nah, it's sales per minute on Fandango are much lower than either.

Even with my theater shoving 3D down moviegoers' throats, the significant lean towards the first show raises a red flag that this is older skewing. idk

 

Sherlock Gnomes is running at 60% of Coco (30.3M). I don't have many comps that work because it's Spring Break.

Paul is running at 10% of I Can Only Imagine (1.7M), and I don't have good Midnight Sun comps (Every Day sold nothing at this point in time). Speaking of which, I Can Only Imagine is down 85% from last week's sales at the same point in time.

21:11 to 21:20, with now all sales for the movies consolidated improvement. I think it could be possible to develop a tracker that get all fandango sales, show us sales by movie by states (or an east coast, central, west coast split)/days/3d-2d split the movie show evolving and by building a table of actual result comparable, have an BOT automated tracker developed.
