A $50-55M domestic gross and 19% RT score isn't gonna convince them a sequel is worth pursuing. Not to mention its overseas prospects are questionable given how comedies usually fare overseas (Central Intelligence made nearly 60% of its worldwide total from domestic). Sequel's as dead as that 6 movie King Arthur franchise.

All of this is speculation right now.  You don't know the overseas total.  It hasn't been released there.  This isn't rocket science dude.  How about letting it get released world wide before burying it?

Universal couldn't even be moved to consider making a Warcraft 2 despite the worldwide total more than saving its disastrous domestic total. Even with the state of Paramount being up in the air these days, I doubt they're desperate enough to make a freakin' Baywatch 2, which would probably go straight to VOD here (and most likely wouldn't have the involvement of either Johnson or Efron to keep the costs low).
