I realized just how hilarious Paramount's upcoming slate is when their biggest attachment to TF5 was Daddy's Home 2. No blockbusters or tentpoles on the horizon. I was kind of shocked there was no Cloverfield 3 trailer TBH.

Looking for to those inappropriate one-liners flying over the heads of the youngsters in the theater.

Weird they would attach a Sony Classics trailer instead of something like Dark Tower or Flatliners or something.

At the very least, reactions from the crowd will certainly be interesting, as the Brigsby Bear trailer sure is...odd.

Cars 3 not looking too hot either. Probably should've waited till DM3 was out of the way there.

But man, it ain't looking good for Transformers.

Cars 3 was totally fucked by releasing so close to DM3. In some countries it released after at least

Eh, this number and Thu drop is not bad once you accept that the Wed number was shitty and it was starting from such a low point, there wasn't much it could do on Thu.

TF5 movie opening to only 15-16 was the surprise. But once you digest Wed then the Thu drop is normal.

I was actually expecting 6.5-7 owing to huge ratio of Tue previews as part of Wed, so 7.5-8 seems ok to me.

Think about what movie was playing when the Waynes left the movie theater.

That would require us to think about the land before time and the only person who existed then was you
