I'd much rather see than than any Simon Pegg Benji movie.

TBH I was kind of racking my brain thinking who Benji was in the MI films

a master list of films paramount can make when they run out of ideas:

-Beverly hills cop 4

-Ghost 2

-Titanic 2

-Interstellar 2: Love Can't Transcend Time and Space

-What Men Want (all female remake of What Women Want)

-Crocodile Dundee reboot (all female cast too)

-Grease 3

-Godfather Part IV

-Getting Shyamalan to continue his visionary Last Airbender series

Anything else?

Like I said the other day, I see little reason to be concerned about Paramount's slate for the rest of the year. Their three main releases in October and November will all gross over 70M with a shot at 100M, and Downsizing could hit that range too if test screenings continue to improve.

I've heard really cool things about downsizing from people who have seen footage.

The perils of announcing sequels before a movie even releases.

At least they had the good sense to only announce one sequel. Not like...5 like Power Rangers. :sadben:

Lol, this is turning out to be the worst summer for the Box Office of the century.

I'm getting a kick out of the fact that that (the fatigued) CBMs are what will keep it afloat.

It's about time some directors and studios stopped bitching about CBMs stealing all the thunder and just concentrated on making competent films of their own.

Paramount has made plenty of money off of Transformers.....they had to know the well would run dry eventually.  This isn't going to come as a big shock to them.
