Tomato Law should work next week for SM:H.  I am expecting 130M with a 3x multi for a 390M finish.  The Tomato, its power.

The

power combined with the weak June should power it past 110M OW and a total above BvS.

It's almost like people have selective memory over how big Jim Carey and Adam Sandler were. Not just in North America but internationally. They pretty much ruled the comedy scene.

Will Ferell was never ever on their level.

Even more so for Eddy Murphy he peaked close to biggest movie star in the world and many of is films were in the top 3 of the year at the BO, he was a really big star in Japan for example (and a spokesman for Toyota over there). Bevery Hills was the biggest R-rated movie until the Matrix Reloaded, the biggest movie in the world in 1984 above Ghosbuster.

I'm hesitant to willy nilly predict 3.0 multipliers for comic book movies  because that just has not been an easy number for them to reach. A Wonder Woman, a Guardians of the Galaxy, an Iron Man or Avengers, those rare multipliers.

Paramount’s Transformers: The Last Knight will beat House for fourth place with a $14M three-day in its second weekend, -69% for a running cume of $99.1M.

That's a huge drop especially considering it burnt some dough on Wed and Thu before the OW. Like with last weekend, could rise as it's very early right now. But with Spidey and Apes coming soon there will be big theater drops and 125-130 looks like the total.

When I was lurking I saw people swear up and down that Cars 2 wouldn't hurt Cars 3 and it would blow past Cars 2 and do 250mil. I think a similar scenario is happening with DM3. And I'm one of those who predicted a hundred million and a 300-plus million total so I'm not pretending that I got it right. You know sometimes conventional wisdom is BS. Illumination are still going to make a ton of money off of Despicable Me 3 so nobody should be crying for them.

If DM3 falls on the low end and holds like Dory did on Saturday with a 5% Sunday drop:

27M

22.5M (-16.6%)

21.4M (-5%)

70.9M Weekend

I doubt it drops as much as Dory did given that opened to about 50-60M more than what this will.

I'm still interested in the multiplier question. 3x for DM3 or not? Spidey also has a kiddie following.
