I'm thinking of seeing a movie this Friday other than Apes. Any suggestions?

Is The Big Sick playing anywhere close to where you are, perhaps.

So just Han then. I work as an intern this summer and I babysit a lot. I also finished an application for North Shore Cinema.

I'm gonna have to get a job this school year because my last summer money is finally starting to get a little thin

Beguiled if it's playing.  Or The Big Sick.

It'll probably be one of those two I want to fill up my palette of films. Also I'm seeing Valerian in a dine in theater.

You're not familiar with the term "edgy"?

Do you and Tele stay at the same retirement home?

LOL  how did you ever guess ? yes he's right down the hall from me - we both are in the "Senial Senior Home Care"

Im not sure how you consider it edgy, we all have different taste when it comes to how spidey character is handle.

I like the more mature, quiet, sophisticated Peter Parker, while on the other hand you like the more active (so call witted holland) ...

Both Tobey and Holland play a great Parker imo. I like Tobey way more since you can't top SM1 and SM2 in terms of performance in a single film, but Holland has a lot of potential since he has a more of a journey through high school which I like and can evolve more. Which is a perk of being in the MCU.

Anyone know how the RT score is determine ?

Or how a RT critic grade a movie ?

Is it base on a point system such as below, then they do the aggregate ?

Or am I way of base... sorry if someone already went through this.

Example: (grade each 1-5 -- 1 as lowest score etc...)

1) acting   3

2) scripts/1st act,2nd act, 3rd act etc...  4

3) cinetography  4

4) action / cgi  3

5) music  5

etc .... aggregate = 3.8 score

My mom gladly pays for my hobbies because I can't find a job and have to focus on school. My sister has a job right now and is absolutely exhausted from doing that and school. I was thinking about getting a job at my school this fall, but after seeing how stressed my sister is, I don't want to attempt working with a full course load in the fall. I haaaaaaaaate spending her money because it makes me feel like a freeloader, but she's fine with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I believe they enter the score.

You mean if they like they give it like a 4/5 and that's it ?

Dam I thought there's more to it than that .... so basically the below, can be most of the critic on RT.

It's just an aggregate of reviews - a database.

There are no specific criteria for each review, each reviewer has their own scale from it's own site.   If a grade is given RT converts it into a ten scale point system when calculating the average rating for RT (note the smaller number under the %)

Most of the top reviewers from the top publications (Variety, THR, New Yorker, TIME, NY Times, LA Times, Village Voice etc)  don't even use a grade so when RT enters them they just put in Fresh or Rotten.

ahhh ok, so RT determines the Fresh or Rotten base on the reviews of the critics. Thanks.
