Between the CBMs all getting good reviews, and Dunkirk looking like it will follow suit, I am already interested in seeing what our year end top 25 lists will look like. Might come down to turnout.

weird pacing and overstayed it's welcome a bit, but I enjoyed it. Nice twist. Great cast.

So it seems like Summer champs will be Wonder Woman (DOM) and Despicable Me 3 (WW).

The latter is not guaranteed but I would give 80% chance.

Get Out is still at the top of my list. Maybe Dunkirk can knock it down to number 2. Would be funny though if it's number one of the year for me since it came out so early.

At least the summer crowns were interesting.

 

The 2017 DOM and WW crowns are pretty much a lock. 

 

Maybe Universal gets their revenge next year after a short dry spell.

I only listed the ones I liked and/or left an impression me too .

 

On a separate note, recently watched Power Rangers, CHIPS, Fist Fight, Life, Dog's Purpose, Return Of Xander Cage, Table 19 and Zookeeper's Wife. None of 'em made the cut. But, I will say, Power Rangers was much, much better than I expected. CHIPS was somehow worse. The others were watchable enough.

I work from home. Can usually get a movie in in my two/three breaks throughout the day. So, usually, one a day or every other day.

I don't have it in me to get out of the house and watch most stuff nowadays. I am strongly considering skipping Apes. I have zero interest thanks to the amazing marketing campaign by FOX.
