Posted May 22, 2019 Share Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) @CayomMagazine New Journey Pictures and director Claude Barras are in postproduction on the Pikmin film, and they are ready to announce that the next stop-motion collaboration is confirmed to be an adaptation of Animal Crossing. Due to the amount of time it takes to make a stop-motion animated feature, the film is not expected to arrive in theaters until Y8. The collaborators are asking fans of the Animal Crossing franchise who their favorite villagers are in the games, so that their favorite villagers might appear as characters in the film. Jon Lajoie (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, YouTube) will write the original songs for the film.
