It would make for an interesting story line if she was kept alive by the enemy and used as a mole or something. She could have really hardened then and can have some cool raw action chops. An ambiguous grey character who can tilt the game in favor of either Hobbs or Shaw as her motivation allows.

So basically reuse the Letty plotline? Why not, not like anyone expects the franchise to break new ground (apart from the space movie, we need a space movie for sure)

hell yes. i don't even think it's far fetched at this point. working with NASA or Space-X to pull off some space heist.

I think they kind of hinted at the plot when Hobbs and Deckard discussed his role in the British intelligence and how he was wrongly accused and kicked out.

Yeah they could start-off with something like flashback.. But eventually the franchise could lean into a meatier role for her in the follow up to the spin-off. I can imagine one Hobbs-Shaw movie being exciting. But a 2nd one needs a big addition like Gal (i.e if they are done with F&F and just want to focus on spin-offs). So to set her up in a bigger role in followups, here they could have her in a smaller role (which they can still market like hell).

Just have her appear as Gisele's identical cousin in a wig (glasses optional). Problem solved.

I still prefer the Fast movies as the big ensembles with this cast. I like the idea of Vin, Rock and Statham together in a movie and leave behind my individual opinions of each of them (I like Statham the most out of the three right now).

 

But my god, Tyrese. Calm down. This is absurd. Maybe you should try and find a different movie to work on before Fast 9. If anyone's gonna hire you for this behavior.
