I'm really impressed that nearly everyone in the principal cast used their own voice. White Michelle Williams has got some range!

It’s not the best thing ever or anything but Greatest Showman was pretty decent. 6.5/10. Just made me wish Hollywood would make more musicals.

Me: "I actually haven't had a bad audience in a while, though that could change today with the amount of sex in this movie."

Mom: "...............Sex? What kind of movie is it?"

 

From there it dived into a conversation about the movie's plot and whether I find JLaw attractive or not. Thank GOD that conversation took place when we were almost home.

The acting awardees are predictable as well, the big targets of Tom Cruise, Tyler Perry, Mel Gibson and Kim Basinger (guessing they awarded her so they can claim she has an Oscar and a Razzie)

Basinger has also been nominated for the Razzies more than a half-dozen times so she was "due" in a way. The irony is that she ended up getting cut out of Fifty Shades Freed.

Finally caught the DuckTales pilot. It's very good; I look forward to bingeing it and Disney's other new solid cartoons (Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Tangled, etc.) once that Disney streaming service comes out
