My daughters class teaching assistant went off and killed himself on Monday so she’s got some days off from school. Nobody saw it coming at all, guy seemed quite nice.

just got home about an hour ago from my 9 day Europe trip.  It was a really good time.  My travel partner is mostly good but he hits all my pet peeves and he wouldn't get off one stop in the metro, then got lost and refused to use his cell phone, then again on the metro, jumped in on the last bell to enter, then just stopped at the door so no one could get on after him...including me.

 

but really I am so glad I did it.  I saw so much stuff and it was worth it

Just watched Amazon's Jack Ryan.  Pretty good, but I think the thing holding it back is how played out middle eastern terrorism is... good thing Season 2 is supposedly set in South America.  Time to check out/binge The Terror before High Castle Season 3 starts.

 

Fucking movies this year man, almost nothing has got my attention outside of Creed 2.  Thank god for Amazon/Netflix right now.

Finished Deadwood recently. Hell of a series. 

 

Also finished Ozark season2.  It’s a good series but it’s missing something that could make it great

Where did you end up going?  If things work out I might either do an Ireland Scotland England trip.  Or sometime in Italy

He got beat up in Vegas, then went to Afghanistan to apologise for murdering an innocent guy, and then he never appeared or was spoken of again.

 

Did this whole thing exist or am imagining it?

yes that plot line was really stupid.

 

it seems like it was only shoved in there to say drones = bad in the most on the nose way possible and that there are no monsters in the world except for us and the ones we create without having anything to do with the main story

For such a high-stakes game, it has felt pretty boring. At least the Rockies are trying their damndest to make things interesting in the top of the 11th.

I was SO disappointed they ended up grounding out after loading the bases. It's the Cub's turn now!

Man, that sucks for the Cubs. In a matter of days, they went from having the best record in the National League to not even making it to the Division Series. (And those poor fans who stayed past midnight to see the Rockies prevail...) But it's at least cool that we'll see at least a little new blood in the NLCS this year instead of another Cubs-Dodgers repeat.

Yeah I want to do the Ireland, Scotland stuff too

 

I went to Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.  I have tons of pics.  All the places were great and had their own little features and feel.  Plus you can tell how some cities are no different no matter what country you go 😛   

 

Did most of the tourist type stuff like Eifflel Tower (went to the top),  Louvre (got a selfie with the Mona Lisa), Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica (even did the walk up to the dome and to the roof), Notre Dame, red light district, Anne Frank House (which is pretty powerful), etc.

 

Ate a lot of local foods so just did it all up.

 

I got tickets to walk through the gladiator entrance to the Colosseum so I could see what it was like to walk through the corridor and see what they saw,  and took a video too

 

Here's one of my favorite pics of the Eiffel tower I took at night time from a river tour.  I even have it as my phone wallpaper now

LMAO now the other lead of the Lethal Weapon series is quitting the show after the other one was fired (and replaced by Seann William Scott) for bad behavior. Fox should take this as the sign of a show that needs to be put out of its misery.

Damon Wayans needs to return to comedy. My Wife and Kids is still one of my favourite shows.
