I remember the glory days around 2011-13 when the UK Pound could be had for only AUD1.50 and Amazon shipped Blu Rays to Australia from the UK for free.

Plus no VAT.

They were basically half price compared to here.

^Amazon started here last year.  It hasn't been a good start for them so far.

I just miss the 70's Steven Spielberg who always had a copy of the latest  Variety with him which annoyed Coppola & De Palma greatly because Spielberg was like us, obsessed with box office.

Spielberg has too much power now, worst thing that ever happened to him.

:sadno:

So we re getting his History Channel movies now and weird attempts at CGI filmmaking ... he s so lost... sigh ...

Hmmm.

I need more thoughts. I'd have about 10-15 minutes between the movies, and they'd both be in before the top 25 deadline.

If possible, see The Shape of Water before Phantom Thread (which is definitely the more challenging of the two). I think you would be fine there.

Tomorrow, I'll be enjoying/laughing at Man of the Woods.

The fact 20/20 came out five years ago next month gives me heartburn.

Right now I feel like I'm gonna be laughing and I loooooove JT :( Supplies set me on a dark path.

I remember buying 20/20 Pt 1 and Zero Dark Thirty on Blu-Ray at Target. That was five years ago?

That's the only combo that works. It's early in the day, so I do run the risk of an annoying audience. Might just do SOW in the late afternoon and see PT sometime over the next week
