Rather off-topic but I adore the LotR trilogy so very much. Was very much appalled when later a good number of my friends told me they'd found Fellowship boring. (One said she'd fallen asleep in cinema. Oh, for shame!!)

That's grounds for terminating a friendship.

Disclaimer: There's no accounting for taste, and I wouldn't classify myself as a film lover tbh. Just here to popcorn at the numbers, mostly.

Bolding Liked (Would watch again of my own volition)

Italics  Disliked (I want my time back)

Nothing So-so

Everything under spoiler cut: Didn't watch (please reccomend if you think I'd like something here based on what I have seen and do like) There's a lot ^^; Additional information: I adored LotR and most of Miyazaki's films.

We go to watch every new installment of the FF franchise together (and laugh at how ridiculous everything is while simultaneously enjoying the overall experience very much) It's become sorta like an event film for us.

Something weird happened. I made a post a couple of pages ago that was sent OK and shows up in my #content but I don't see it anywhere in the thread

When I click on the link to the post it just takes me right to the top of page 95. Except there's Pink's double post there and nothing from me. Is it possible that when a lot of people are posting stuff at the same time and new pages rapidly get created something can fall through the cracks like this? Not that these couple of lines are so very precious to me I just never had this happen before.

Got the same error. Interestingly enough it was a notification saying you'd replied to one of my posts but like what you said, just brings me to the top of one of the pages that definitely doesn't have your reply on it.

So...what's everyone expecting from next week's limited releases (since there are no wide openers)? I think The Shape of Water could pull $80K PTA while The Disaster Artist should do $30K PTA (it's going to be in about 20 theaters). With weak reviews and no awards prospects, Wonder Wheel will be the next nonstarter.
