PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS AND DEADLINE (possibly subject to change, but if you submit prior to a change it won’t effect you and won’t have to make any alterations):   Go ahead and RANK the Best Picture nominees in your order of preference.  For the rest of the nominees pick a number 1 vote and a runner up. We’ll use the runner ups to break a tie.   DEADLINE: Monday, February 26th at 11:59pm

To be fair, it's more like...1/8. :sparta:

 

There were a couple shows I started and did not manage to finish. 

 

I'm a better person now though, no more Iron Fist. It was a moment of weakness, favorable timing, and a desire to punish myself. I'm in a better place.

I was very overzealous with my FYCs this year, campaigning films in categories where even I don't have the space to put them...

 

The only Faith-Based film that I may be giving a vote is The Case for Christ for Best Adapted Screenplay, though that may not have happened if Adapted Screenplay wasn't as barren this year. All Saints would have been given a Best Original Song nomination if that was a category, and the year is so strong that I decided not to give All Saints a Best Picture nomination on the basis that it really doesn't have a chance. :(

 

(If anyone is planning a last-minute voting campaign for either of those films, notify me and I'll change my ballot around.)

I was not sure if the top 25 rules applied here as well...

 

Anyway, I wish more people had seen God's Own Country. It's v. good and one of my favorites from last year.

It is good but also very unrealistic. There are some moments that just take me out of it.
