I think it got mostly favorable reactions from people here, when it came out. Not sure how many lists it'll make, though. (Pretty sure it showed up on one already).

I'm desperately looking to watch In the Mood for love, but there isn't a copy in my local rental place, and couldn't find it in any (legal) streaming services in Brazil.

It's a brilliant film and what Wong Kar-wai can do with a camera to tell such a rich subtle longing love story is amazing. It's an interesting companion to his Happy Together which is on the other side of the emotional spectrum.

So Amadeus, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Titanic are being added to my list. The latter bumped up from an 8 to a 9 after a rewatch.

It's really interesting to see the overall progression of Titanic's reception over the years.

 

For example, here's Titanic's IMDb score back in December 2003

And now, in April 2018

 

 

 

Went from 6.9 to 7.8!

 

I checked in every year and it's been steadily increasing since then, never going down.

 

Quite impressive if you ask me.

Because after the huge success, somewhere in March-April 1998, haters started their crusade against Titanic. Some years later they switch to Avatar and 2012 re-release remind everyone how beautiful the movie is. Titanic is a grand masterpiece, one of the best movies of all time.
