First hlwd movie in theaters was spider-man. I just remember the excitement after it.

Spiderman was the first movie to really have that lasting "whoa" effect on me as a kid. 16 years later it's still there as you can see, since I'm tripping about not getting the Spiderverse trailer.

2008 was a horrific year for me.  I saw Bedtime Stories, Horton Hears a Who, that Veggietales movie, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Clone Wars, Space Chimps, High School Musical 3, Meet Dave, Fly Me to the Moon, Igor, and The Tale of Despereaux.  I also never saw Speed Raer that year (I had the DVD but I lost it, didn’t actually watch it until much later on) and my mom also got me the DVD for Doogal that year.

Of course, I was young and stupid and had no clue that what I was watching was pure garbage.

I suppose that's better than if you knew it.

Pixar movies that have A+ CinemaScores:

Coco - 4.18x

Up - 4.3x

Finding Nemo - 4.84x (excluding re-release)

Monsters Inc - 4.11x (excluding re-release)

Toy Story 2 - 4.27x (from wide-release)

That's a small sample size but they're all over 4x. Not saying it'll happen but...

TS2 and Coco are irrelevant comps though since they're 5 day holiday openings. And Nemo and Up are probably too old to be relevant. But still, sub 3.5x ain't happening here.
