Holy moly, we’re getting some great increases from estimates. 225 is a realistic target for this now.

Gotta love all those under 200M/under the first posts. They aged well :hahaha:

Can't see I2 below 590. Adding 2.75x this weekend will take it there. Should do more imo. Gonna get the Labour Day expansion too. 590-595 is the least it should do. At 595+ Disney will be hardpressed to not let it end below 600. 3rd freaking 600 dom film for Disney this year and 4th inculding TLJ in only so many months.

Adding 3x this weekend to it's cume will take Ant2 to 215. That's a multi of 2.84x, similar to SMH's 2.86x. 3x more won't be easy but 210 looks pretty likely.  2nd weekend July drops are always bad for decent/big openers and the strong hidden midweeks forebode a misleading total.

And the only $600M animated film if it happens.

3x should be pretty easy. It has more competition that Ant-Man and SMH, but those both added over 3.7x this weekend after very similar performances for the first 17 days.

Over/under 218 or so, imo.

Denzel can pull more hits than the rock. :hahaha:

Is that true, he can probably pull hits in a more diverse range of movies if that you mean (Flight for example, being a huge hits and making Fence work), but for pulling more hits in general:

In all Denzel career one movie made more than half of Rampage unadjusted, chance are good Skyscraper will finish over unadjusted all of Denzel filmography.

Making sure to have the good numbers this time:

Title Budget WW BO Ratio
Flight $31.00 $161.80 5.22
Remember the Titans $30.00 $136.70 4.56
Inside Man $45.00 $184.40 4.10
The Equalizer $63.00 $192.30 3.05
John Q. $36.00 $102.20 2.84
Fences $24.00 $64.40 2.68
American Gangster $100.00 $266.50 2.67
Safe House $85.00 $208.10 2.45
Deja Vu $75.00 $180.60 2.41
Training Day $45.00 $104.90 2.33
2 Guns $61.00 $131.90 2.16
The Book of Eli $80.00 $157.10 1.96
The Magnificent Seven (2016) $85.00 $162.40 1.91
Antwone Fisher $12.50 $23.40 1.87
Man on Fire $70.00 $130.30 1.86
Unstoppable $100.00 $167.80 1.68
The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 $115.00 $150.20 1.31
The Manchurian Candidate $80.00 $96.10 1.20
Out of Time $50.00 $55.50 1.11
Roman J. Israel, Esq. $22.00 $13.00 0.59

Average: 2.4 time it's budget, median 2.25

Baywatch made 2.56 time it's budget and for Johnson that was even perceived has a flop by some, only 35% of Washington 2000s output before Equalizer 2 achieved that.

That in comparison, Johnson live action output post Fast five, outside the Fast&Furious franchise:

Title rumored budget WWBO Ratio
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle 90 962.2 10.69
Central Intelligence 50 217 4.34
San Andreas 110 474 4.31
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island 79 335.3 4.24
Pain and Gain 26 86.2 3.32
Rampage 140 425.75 3.04
G.I. Joe: Retaliation 130 375.7 2.89
Baywatch 69 177.9 2.58
Hercules (2014) 100 244.8 2.45
Snitch 25 57.9 2.32

Average: 4.02, median: 3.18

Is worst performance (around 2.4) is Denzel average.

You can take a vacation for a couple months and not worry, still won't be late for it

I thought the increased theater count meant the extreme 1500% increase of fudge was coming for Monday actuals. Not the case though. Hmmm

Would be the case if this was an Ant-Man or Christopher Robin weekend. But this was just an expansion, not double features.
