Akiva Goldsman's current credits are - Winters Tale, Insurgent, Rings, The 5th Wave, King Arthur (as producer), Tranformers 5 and now The Dark Tower.

How does he keep getting work?

Having a heavily established career over decades (plus an Oscar to your name) does wonders, I guess.

He's working on DC's Titans show too but I have faith that Berlanti and Johns are the main ones involved

Actually, there's a pretty good series on the making of Fan4stic on a channel on Youtube called Midnight's Edge. I want something like that for this.

Not enough.  I want a 3 hour long Wolf of Wall Street-esque heavily stylized dramatization on the making of Fant4stic.  get Scorsese to direct and put it into theaters.  boom, profit

That run:

 2007 I Am Legend (screenplay) - 585 million

2006 The Da Vinci Code (screenplay)  -758 million

 2005 Cinderella Man (screenplay) - 108 million

 2004 I, Robot (screenplay)  - 347 million

2001 A Beautiful Mind (written by) -313.5 million

Will buy you a lot of good will

The flying horse is in the book so he gets no points for butchering a magnificent novel. :whip:

I thought it was hilariously done in the film, though I'll admit I've never read the book. I'm sure it's handled much much better.

We talking about Winter's Tale and we haven't talked about how you could love someone so completely that you simply can't die?

My man Colin Farrell pouring his heart out for that one

"Give me a chance and you'll melt all the snow in the world!"

Beautiful!

The funniest thing about the first few pages is @Squadron Leader Tele's stanning for this movie and defending every single decision they made.

It wouldn't be Tele, if he wasn't defended some soon to be bad film months in advance.

At least he jumped ship at the right time.
