19 and 18% drops respectively.  Wonder if we will see that across the board. Would likely lead to lower weekend numbers than we have been thinking the last 2 days.

Big drops

Movie Gross % Change Theaters Total Gross Days
- (2) Godzilla: King of the Monsters $2,645,000 -19% 4,108   $63,053,502 7
- (7) Pokémon: Detective Pikachu $700,000 -18% 3,147   $134,427,172 28

Pika's probably looking at a 3.5/4 million Weekend. Decent legs should kick it to around 150 or a bit above by end of run.

I think Gitesh is overestimating Zilla's likely weekend. He is thinking 19. Looking at that Thur number i'm thinking 16.5.

Disappointing weekend around the corner, except for Aladdin.

I think Rocketman may end up out grossing Godzilla this weekend.

on the tracking thread Rocketman has been outselling Godzilla for the last 24 hours or so.

So basically Aladdin, out for two weeks now, is already close to doubling Godzilla despite the latter releasing this time last week. OUCH!!!

That suggests Aladdin is going to have a really good weekend. At least mid-20's, could be higher.

Also likely be ahead of DP next weekend.

Lord have mercy. Even with all those screens lost.

It is in for a monster weekend. It is beating SLOP2 and DP with tickets sold at my local 24.
