that's worse than The Marvels and there's no way this is a worse movie than that. Like c'mon, Balad has some weight.

Yeah, it's not looking great so far. I'll still see this (mostly for Viola getting her nutty villain on), but eh. This and the early Marvels reactions should remind everyone to take early reacts with a grain of salt until the actual reviews are published (especially when the negative reviews tend to stay quiet until the embargo breaks).

eh. That isn't saying much. Most of the time the actors get praise from the reviewers. Even Brie was highlighted for the Marvels, along with the other girls

I knew the early reaction tend to skew highly positive but this is still too mixed. That being said, I expect some rebound like the Marvel.

May still rise into the 70s on RT since it's inching up. It seems to match some of the mixed reactions to the book as well.

No because TM started with 2 rotten aka 0% so it had to go up, while Balad started with 66% so it could go down. 

 

If anything is going to carry November it's gonna be Wish.

Francis Lawrence is one of the quintessential directors for hire. This is a decent enough book so it will make a decent enough movie. He was never gonna elevate anything.

Yeha gotta give it to Flawrence he directed the shit out of Catching Fire. Bigger names wouldn't have done better.

I wasn't expecting Catching Fire level reviews as that's just a great movie and too much to expect but just a little better. Oh well, let's see where it lands when it has 100-150 reviews.
