The most attractive thing about HBO MAX is their back catalogue (or MGM's film back catalogue) but at a reported $17-18 a month it's the most costly streamer on the market. Meanwhile Netflix it losing quite a bit to the studios setting up their own streaming services and a lot of the new content is meh or cancelled too early. Still, I have 200 things on my "list" But, it's not looking to be a hard choice to switch to Hulu & Disney + later this year at a lower combined cost. I’ll probably stick with Netflix and lose HBO Go because of the freaking logo. Disney Plus will only be avaliable here by the end of next year, and we still don’t have a date for Hulu, so it’s not like I have much of a choice. If only HBO Go would drop their freaking fixed logo around here, I’d consider.

DC Universe will most definitely dissolve into the new HBOMax service. The shows on that service will be able to live on, thank goodness. DC universe is distributed severely delayed here in Brazil via Netflix. No idea if that’s going to change in the future.

And NBC is pulling the Office off of Netflix for its own streaming service. According to VOX, The Office accounted for 7% of all Netflix views and Friends accounts for 4%. Those are the 2 most watched shows on Netflix.

Digital on screen graphics of a studio or channel's logo, usually on the lower right corner - like a watermark. Annoying as hell. It's bad enough when it's on TV but if you're paying for it like HBO it's inexcusable.

Well... Rothman. It's reportedly only an option if SM:FFH fails to make $1b WW. That's not happening unless Sony pulls it out of theaters next week.

Scoop from here - Richard Rushfield a Hollywood insider te The Marvel universe dodged a bullet here. The original Sony/Marvel/Spidey deal to co-produce these movies stipulated that if this Spidey cleared a billion, Marvel would get to oversee a third. If it hadn’t, full control would have reverted back to Sony, which raised the specter that America’s Most Beloved Entertainment Executive would look to cash in/out every way possible, as well as grab complete unexpurgated credit for the victory and thrown superhero canon to the wind. (Not something he was ever a fan of in the first place). It was feared he would have tossed Spidey and Venom together for a quickie mash-up that very potentially could’ve sunk both. https://theankler.com/bullets-over-the-box-office-spidey-spidey-spidey-ho/
