FilmFincher
I would love to see Titane but it's not releasing near me and I've become wary of making the trip into central London.

Are they? Cinemas aren’t close on NYD

Cinemas aren’t close on NYD Oh I just checked and my local had no showtimes for Saturday, must just be a glitch because the other locals do. My bad. Someone fainted at my screening in October lol. Not sure about enjoying it, but my brain is throughly melted after that 😂
Heretic
As of Wednesday. Should be very close to, or just past £60m going into the long weekend. 3
Krissykins
Looks like The Kings Man has been ahead of The Matrix Resurrections since it opened.

Joyous Legion
Unless I am misunderstanding something (or that tweet has a typo?) 17.3 2nd week with theaters closed Sat seems absolutely loco — seeing as London appears to be peaking already without too much icu burden, is 80+ possible? charlie Jatinder
70 at end of weekend?
Joyous Legion
Just made 12.5 from weekdays right? Lmao. Not sure of ratio, but in us gonna be maybe 65% of weekdays, would give £8.1 for £72.8 cume. Think realistic maybe 70.5-72? TLJ doesn’t seem too ambitious from there. Endgame is ambitious
Heretic
£63.7m? How is that possible if it was at £57.4m on Wednesday? Unless I am getting days mixed up, I cant remember what day it is after Christmas… If that number is indeed correct that is just insane, and £80m+ would definitely look likely.

Sorry, I think £57.4m must be by Tuesday actually looking at it again as it made over £3m on both days! So over £70m after the 4 day weekend. Unbelievable. Titanic and TLJ are firmly in sight now. Endgame seems a bit of a stretch, but 7th biggest film of all time is above anyone’s wildest imaginations for a Spider-Man film.

The only thing that gives me doubts is that New Years Eve is a total dead zone for cinemas, after about 5pm they might as well not even be open, and New Years Day doesn’t pick up until the afternoon (due to the entire country being hungover, never underestimate how much Brits are likely to drink).
PhilipJ2001
yeah today has been quiet and tomorrow is normally a bad day for cinema.
Heretic
$92.4m. Should hit $95m tomorrow and will pass $100m next weekend. Edited January 2, 2022 by Heretic 1

I haven't been keeping up with the UK run too much, but it looks like $110M is on the table?
