I can barely function now, I blame the open bar at work last night 👀 1
Krissykins
2022 off to a great start with two titles over £10m already plus Scream and Jackass posting franchise-best openings.
Krissykins
Uncharted looking busy. Should be an easy #1. Death on the Nile is selling well in its smaller rooms for evening shows, should get some sell-outs. Marry Me has one busy showing.
Jonwo
Honestly, whoever was proclaiming the death of cinema and going out back in 2020 is probably looking a bit foolish now.

Death On The Nile #2, maybe £500k at most. Marry Me #6 3

charlie Jatinder
Nice for Unchartered. Weekend can be around 4M I suppose. Finally a non-MCU Hit for Tom? 1 1
Jonwo
Death on the Nile is more of a weekday film than a Friday Night film, I would expect Uncharted is frontloaded but at the same time, there is no similar competition until The Batman comes out.

Murder on the Orient Express was both though. It had a big opening and a tiny second weekend drop, like 11% or something.

Sing 2 $4.1M weekend, $22.3M total; Belfast $1.4M weekend, $15.1M total. Edited February 13, 2022 by Purple Minion 1
Jonwo
Impressed how Uncharted did, I guess being the first 12A action film in a while helped. I wonder if the lack of marketing hurt Death on the Nile, I don't think they did any promotion for the film.

Krissykins
That’s great for Uncharted. More than Ghostbusters Afterlife’s 4 day.

It also did a better job of analysing the characters' motives. MotOE was badly paced compared to the 1974 version.
