That would be ideal but easier said than done. I don't know of any website like Mojo that gives grosses in local currency for UK. Is there any?

Not really. Box office reporting and tracking is spotty at best. The BFI do some end of year charts I believe though

Thats the ones I could find that are currently in the top 100. Hope it’s useful :)

It’s worth noting: Joker, The Batman and Deadpool are all rated a 15, so no families.

Looks like The Batman will take the #10 spot from GOTG2, although won’t be for long as Dr Strange 2 will undoubtedly be aiming for a top 7 place.

Also, this list just highlights how impressive Joker’s run was.

Hmm, kind of seems like Strange should aim for top 4.

Top 7 I’m betting, I think it’ll be around £50 million and might squeeze past Black Panther. It’ll not get near Infinity War/Endgame/NWH though, those are outliers, the presales for those three were on another level to what were seeing here for DS2 so far.

Hot take. Think DS2 will make the same or slightly bit more than The Batman.Demand was non existent in the U.K as like in the USA. It’s just probably U.K. audiences don’t rush for tickets.

if it's anything in the last 20 years then the BFI is definitely the best resource for UK box office figures. they have weekend figures going back to 2001

Yeah ofc but

1. You have to download many many many sheets for checking weekend numbers of a film.

2. Saltypopcorn has uploaded all those numbers in a database, so its easier to find numbers.

3. Saltypopcorn has data going back in 70s I think.

Fantastic Beasts opens today, and I have to say, pre-sales are looking very underwhelming unfortunately. Quite busy tonight, but nothing like you’d expect from a Wizarding World film.

At this point I can’t see it doing more than £8m, and wondering if it’ll even manage that.

So generally 9-10% USD.

Yeh we’ve always used roughly 10% as what films should be doing, some don’t agree though but that’s just the way it is.

I went to see Ambulance last night and you wouldn’t have guessed by how quiet the cinema was in general that a Harry Potter film was opening.
