A2 will catch Rogue One before end of year and after that will likely follow NWH due to lack of competition. Probably 11-12M 2nd weekdays, 3rd weekend probably 6 range, weekdays like 5+, for 47M+ total in 3 weeks.

following NWH will lead to 70M. It need to do better than.

To my absolute rage, Violent Night has been pulled from my cinema. Totally. I planned to see it this week.

I hate when UK cinemas do this, but we are now on an incessant Avatarpalooza, seasoned with Matilda and Dance with Somebody. Dance with Somebody seems to have a completely overoptimistic number of screens.

We don't even have the revival showings. Just a couple of Indian and Polish films that they always have on are the only options beyond these two and a couple showings of Strange World.

Graaaaaaargh.

With Babylon and Puss not being released, it's created an utterly barren landscape in the UK if you don't have much interest in Avatar or flops given Matilda's been out for well over a month.

Yeh finished here too, hopefully you can see it soon, it’s great.

It’s just Avatar, Whitney, Matilda at mine and Aftersun is coming back from Friday. Is this an awards expansion?

I'm not writing A2 off yet, but I find nothing impressive about these numbers. It is still trailing RO. It might not even catch it in the end. I still expect it to leg it somehow to £70m due to zero competition, but that's hardly a great number following a 94m film. That's a 25% drop. With a clear market.
