Oppy doing better than Dunkirk first time this week, though I suppose Dunkirk might have had some competition. Would guess weekdays to be around 4.2M ish. Final over Dunkirk perhaps.

Blue Beetle looks absolutely DOA near me. I can count the amount of seats sold for the main evening show at my local Cineworld on one hand, and it’s in one of the smaller screens too.

They’ve given it some morning and early afternoon IMAX shows though which surprises me.

Yeah, Barbie is almost certainly repeating a 5th weekend at number 1. Probably 6th weekend also. When was the last time a movie achieved that?

Edit: Just checked, avatar 2 had 7 weekends at number 1!

It looks like Barbie will take it but it seems like the disparity between it and opp are getting closer in terms of Weekend performances.

I think Barbie will continue to beat Oppenheimer for the #1 spot.

Oppenheimer might eventually get an individual day at #1 though, with it’s continued IMAX boost.

I think Barbie still has more to do in the UK that someone thinks. Especially if they release new versions (like sing along - karaoke) British love this kind of thing (the soundtrack is more successfull there than in the US). They had a big impact for mamma mia or the greatest showman.

I think It can reach 95M.

Can’t see them doing a sing-along version when there’s really only one song that would work with that format in the entire film. The rest of the music is background music which doesn’t lend itself well to singing along.
