Recent marketing for The Lost City says that it'll be playing in Dolby Cinema so looks like Batman has PLF screens on lock until then (Morbius the week after that is the next major IMAX release).

FWIW, IMAX and XD screens haven't been allocated for that Thr Preview/OW locally. Is getting an RPX screen and a 4DX interestingly enough.

(also FWIW, Cinema West is already starting to give some of its "Giant Screens" to TLC, but they don't always upcharge so not the biggest deal in the world).

I remember watching Ghajini for a 500 rupee ticket. Still no idea what I was thinking with that.

500 in 2008 is crazy. Highest I paid was about 800ish (10.5 USD) for No Way Home which was too much for me. Right now the most expensive ticket for Batman is around 1450 (19.19 USD). Highest for NWH was 2600 (34.41 USD) but that was just 1 show with few seats. Average Max was around 1600-1700.

These crazy prices are for IMAX at PVR which is a premium theatre at a premium location. Other IMAXes have more normal pricing around 400-500 range. Unfortunately for me the PVR cinema is the only closest IMAX to me, rest are prohibitively far.

Friday and Saturday weren't working for NWH on this day, so no comps there. Drafthouse is giving Batman a ton of showings, pretty much equivalent to NWH at this point. Definitely will be an overperformance here

Joker final count was 7384 as indicated in my last post. I’ll do a final count tomorrow cause that’s when I did Jokers final count but as of a few hours ago Batman was at 13643 seats sold.

Just adding in my count for today, as of now Batman is at 15276 sold.

I think could be black ticket and not actual tix. I remember reading 500 tix for 3 Idiots though.

Interesting to me that the Wednesday shows had higher attendance than the Tuesday shows in Alpha...could indicate WOM is starting to kick in

Ehhh, we're talking about 1.5% difference in pure percentages.  Pretty much variance and/or quality of theater location here, I would think.
