Is there a chance elemental has really strong walkups and gets to 40 plus opening weekend

Not impossible, but reaching that won't be easy. It's only chance is to hope for strong audience word of mouth and families with young children.

No way it was only at 115k last night, that would mean Wed barely increased from Tues and that the far today, it has added 8k in tickets between midnight and 10 am eastern time when sales are no doubt very spare, even on the day release. It was probably near 120 and trending up big. 200k+ should happen with relative ease. 😎

Jurassic Got $17.5m out of 250k admissions; Flash get 80% of that number with a slightly higher avg ticket + all the advanced show times...$15m previews maybe??

Man if you are right that'll be hilarious 😂

No, because JWD's numbers were far stronger outside of Alpha.

Thanks for running it again!

You think its added 13.5k yesterday and then added another 8k in the 10 hours today so far? If Tues was 11.3k added, would think Yesterday was probably closer to 17-18k w/ another 5k so far today. Either way looking at past comps, that is actually a pretty nice bump, very close to Jurassic World last year and far ahead of Black Adam.

101k was not the Tuesday number.  It was just an erroneous number.  It's not unusual for T-2 to have minimal growth over T-3.  I was thinking more like 10k Tuesday and 15k Wednesday.

But, we'll have a real number to comp in a few hours.  So that will tell the story.

if its only 115K, even 170K will be tough, proly 117-120 ish.

Thinking it would have been closer to 120K than 115, and looking for a +55% for today. But won’t be all surprised if it comes in lower

Just like Flash will likely be. Black Adam parlayed 145k admissions to $7.6m. 200k+ w/ higher ticket price still gets Flash into lower teens.

Elemental (D-0):

668 tickets sold at 10 AMC's (+209)/348% jump in the last 5 days)

The Flash (D-0):

3,449 tickets sold at 10 AMC's (+807)

Comp to Black Adam would be ~$11m range but that has decreased 20% over last couple days

Yes, but that was good for $7.6M for just Thursday, or a $57/tix PSM. Typically, DC films are MTC1 heavy, with a PSM closer to $50/tix, but something higher (like $53?) cannot be ruled out, though doubt it goes all the way up to TF/Fast X level
