Decided to follow @Inceptionzq's lead and add DS2 to the comps to see if I can get some sort of sanity restored. 

 

Still a kinda wild comp considering DSMoM over-performed locally, had a stronger start, and has been on sale for six more days than TG:M.  That the comp looks semi-reasonable just shows how much TG:M is beasting here.

Jurassic World is now in No Mans Land when it comes to presales. Those who wanted to get tickets as fast as possible have already got them and now its still a whole month until release so sales should be expected to be quite slow at the moment.

 

They will pick up significantly when the movies release is nearer.

@THUNDER BIRD Just gonna put this out here that I really hate it when people take my data for granted. I hate when I spend 3 hours of my own free time late at night every night on something I don't even have to do, only for my data to be disrespected like this. This is especially true when it comes to movies that will make a bajillion dollars no matter what (I don't care if Dominion "disappoints" in the end. This is making more money than I'll ever make), and in the lull period of presales. That period of time midway through the film's presales window where sales don't pick up and are the lowest they are. It's not a sign of the movie's failure, but something every movie goes through.

 

If Dominion is set for failure or whatever, I promise that I will let you know. For now, just take a breather and don't disrespect me like this.

Today TG2 should get a good boost in PS. I like movies releasing their reviews early. I think TG2 will not just have a great start but will have a strong summer run. I wont be surprised even with 4x legs.
