And at the moment the weekend weather is predicted to become way worse than on the last two weekends. The Thursday is said to be still sunny (and that's why I keep my expectations for the OD admissions lower than I would otherwise) but Friday should be cloudy in most regions, even with rain in the south, and overall way colder than it is now. On Saturday and Sunday it looks like there won't be much sunshine either.
Plus we still have school holidays in 82% of the republic.

From reservated tickets it looks very good e.g. in mathäser but the shows are not completely sold out so far (the front rows are partly still vacant). But as mentioned, today and tomorrow are predicted to be the last days with sunshine, maybe some fans therefore favor the Friday or the weekend.

Let's see if OD exceeded 400k admissions by a bigger margin. It's been a while for german theaters to see that kind of business. Marvel has finally arrived at the Top in Germany. Unfortunately, it's over for now.

At least MarkG from InsideKino thinks Wednesday could be able to reach 400k. All of my requests for being cautious and he just forecasted 1,6M 4-day and 2M 5-day for a total of 4,5M...

Of course this is nothing like based on actual wednesday numbers and just a prediction, and he calls himself Mr. Optimistic, but it at least shows that the ceiling may be higher than I thought

To get the non-German readers here another kind of impression:

to even reach the top 100 all time for admissions, its final admission count has to be near to 6m for #100

 

Money-wise it will do a lot better, as 3D is early on often the only choice or the major possible choice, inflation.... the usual.

Based on the length of the movie I guess it to be a bit more expensive per ticket, at least in the past they added a bit for the extra long movies

A IW made acc BOM $45m out of ~ 3.4m admissions, that would be with today's exchange rate acc search engine ~40m Euro.

A IW was not on the top 47 most money-wise suceesful film chart (40m € is the limit to get on it) = the exchange rate isn't the same, just to avoid confusion.

If 4m admissions will be its final, a bit higher average price for its length... = 48m€ assumed (A IW plus 20%), it would enter as first ever CBM that chart, on #34, with 4.5m final, 52.8m€ assumed (A IW plus 32%) it would reach #29.

(MiB is not a CBM in my POV)

You see this is what I mean with low ATP, TFA did 20k less admission but 200k more in Euro. 

I mean the ticket price is still crazy in comparison with most of the other prices over the world but I was expecting €12 tickets.

Sadly, since there's no daily numbers for Germany, I don't really know how the pattern is...

My guess would be something like

Wed 458k / 458k (heavily inflated by midnights probably)

Thu 250k / 710k

Fri 350k / 1,06M

Sat 425k / 1,48M

Sun 375k / 1,86M

--> 1,4M 4-day / 1,86M 5-day

 

But I really have no clue - and I'm not the right person to ask for crazy predictions
