Still looking pretty predictable right now. Elvis should still beat out Top Gun Maverick by some margin. Things could shake out like this:

TGM: $29-33M

JWD: $24-27M

TBP: $23-26M

I wonder about Saturday bumps across the board... Don't those depreciate as the summer starts? Would they be something like 35%? Or, is that too low?

I'm not down on Elvis - I just think it won't bump as high Sat and Sun as 2 holdovers...

 

And I see the movie's overall appeal as much more narrow than a lot of you do - I always did...

That's pretty standard for this point in summer although 40%+ increases still happen from time to time.

Probably for TGM, maybe for JWD, but in either case not enough to make up for the $3.5M in preview gross added in.  Elvis is winning the weekend, unless it has a <10% Tfri to Sat increase, which I don't think is coming. The order is basically set, only waiting on final totals
