The 26% drop the original Avatar experienced on 4th Sunday is such an anomaly with NFL games devouring nights and impending workdays. Normal behavior would suggest a 35 to early 40s drop for Avatwo.

Sunday could hold well, but it only got -18% on OW and with people getting out of school & work for holidays 

 

A good Sun hold for this time of year would be sub 30%

After Tuesday, holiday period is basically over, money is in the bank. This next week/weekend (Wed-Tue) is more about setting the baseline for post-holiday grossing, while the week that follows is more about setting the trajectory moving forward

Those two together should be more so around 4-4.5m, but you’re right it is too low.
