Something has to give because if it keeps following Sonic 2, 3rd weekend is $80M+ which isn’t realistic at all. Maybe Friday won’t have a 250% jump like Sonic 2 did? Look, I get that this film’s run has been amazing. But $80M third weekend would be legendarily generational and about 5-10 times more impressive than $92M second weekend.
