EA was small, prob like $250K at most. Numbers last night suggested $1.8/$1.9M for Thursday alone

That actually seems really good for Feelings? Like high teens are a certainty, though it would be cool if it could get to 20M in the end.

Focus Features’ expansion of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City is off to a great start with $1.1M from 1,400 theaters last night in previews. The film swells from six LA and NYC locations to 1,675 today. Last weekend the absurdist comedy ensemble posted the best opening theater average post pandemic with $142K. The movie is expected to do in the single digits.

Asteroid City is probably a bit on the frontloaded side due to Wes' fanbase but overall looking to be a good weekend for both new movies.

Low-teens for AC, high-teens for NHF assuming the early screenings weren't a good chunk of the preview number. Good for both.
