Will FNAF have the lowest ATP in recent years? I see more than half the tickets sold for those under 18.

 

Mario would have made more if more adults tickets were sold instead of the cheaper kids ones.

Wakanda Forever's social media embargo lifted on october 26th, 2 weeks before release. Review Embargo also lifted on tuesday and not wednesday.

Well, while it depends on the chain, the big driver here is 11/12/13 and under, not 18 and under.

 

Do think, even with an ATP hike, Sonic 2 and Minions 2 will be good comps, if for different reasons.  Problem is, those (especially Min 2) were backloaded flicks so comps won't be useful until Wed/Thr.  Or possibly even Final Update.

 

(also looking at Barbie simply because lack of PLFs for Barbie might go a long way to cover more pre-teen tickets being bought for FNAF — though capacity concerns rearing its head at the last updates also factors into the equation, at least locally)

Just from presales perspective I will respond. Wakanda had really strong presales from Day 1 and skewed Friday as well due to Veterans day. it did not need any boost until final week. Marvels is having meh presales or worse and is doing even worse on Friday despite Veteran's day. Without a catalyst it aint changing trend. Let us see. I hope to get an update today but based on all the trackers here its looking grim at the moment. 

 

Another example of what Disney did recently was pull in Guardians 3 reviews and did free fan screenings a week before release to up the ante. That definitely helped big time. Waiting until final 2 days is just awful.

Nov 3rd is empty enough that Build a Bear has made and is releasing an animated movie about their new Christmas stuffy...and they got real voice actors for this...

 

Cinemark is gonna show it...not sure anyone else is, but if you see Glisten and the Merry Mission on your theater's releases for Nov 3rd weekend, now you know...

 

PS - And in another interesting ticket sales promo, if you build and buy the stuffy now or anytime soon, you get a free children's ticket to the movie...

Good reviews were not saving this film anyways. They're waving the white flag 

 

Friday Saturday and Sunday sales aren't impressive just by glancing at them in Orlando. I might try to get some numbers but I'm not sure if its even worth it.
