In the first draft of the script when the emails went around. No idea what they made of it in the final shooting draft.

The spoiler is one thing, it's effect on the plot is what I was talking about. The biggest complaint in the emails was that the spoiler comes out of nowhere and has no bearing on the plot - that is what they were trying to change before filming began.

still there but (MEGA SPOILER)

but Bond subverts it revealing that he was adopted too in the very same scene the spoiler is dropped and his real name is Ernst Stavro Blofeld. This is essentially the Blofeld origins film, as he even gets the signature disfigurement by the end

It is just a teaser, so I can see why it kept a lot hidden. Still, I know get the sense of what the movie is going to be about, and am excited for it. So there. Teaser did its job.
