Context: Aladdin's final firts Sunday was 287K.

Also context, on the 14th which falls on Sunday this month, tickets are discounted at Toho Cinemas. On top of that, Monday (the 15th), is a public holiday. So while it is great, this Sunday's admission number is heavily inflated.

TLK :- $100 M to $120 M  (this is also maximum)

 

Aladdin :- $120 M to $130 M ...  but no idea hows movie trend After TLK release ..

 

TS4 :- $100 M +

Japan had been a huge help for many Disney movies: live-action fairytale musicals, the WDAS and Pixar animated films, SW, and the Pirates films. Iger should visit the country and hold a thanksgiving event there. Lol

Yep indeed especially after yesterdays not as good as I thought walk ups. Thought it would have hit 300k on sat but it slowed down compared to other animated movies past 14pm (and did a bit better after 19pm ) but 14pm to 18pm are key hours for younger skewing movies. But today is indeed very good, I mean probably around 425k or so in the end. 

 

And the fact that you are impressed must means it actualy very good (I haven't followed these numbers much in the last few years) only frozen's run and BR run (but this only in daily grosses not hourly). So it's good that someone with actual knowledge says it's a good day too 😛

Aladdin had less then 15% drop weekend average which puts it up an extra 1.3m + and has a little outside chance of reaching $90m today. 

 

The sunday's drop was minimal which lowers it's total weekend drop to about less then 15%

A few days ago I would be satisfied by an 8M OW - and it got that amount on Sunday alone!!!!! And Aladdin even held well.
