Lordmandeep
As a kid, you would enjoy ROTJ way more then ESB.I remember as 7-10 year old kid watching the space battles in ROTJ going wipiieeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Imo ROTJ has two great great great scenes. The Space battle and the final duel..If they did not have the battle of the Care Bears it likley would be seen as good as the other two films. The Final duel could have been better but the buildup of the duel between Luke and Vader is great and easily beats the ending of many films especially DH2 (yes this is aimed at notics)So imo if anyone says ROTJThis scene owns most franchise films today Edited June 19, 2012 by Lordmandeep
Dementeleus
Those space battles were INSANE for the time.

Lordmandeep
I would imagine the Space Battle in ROTJ still is the best ever done^^^With Lando and the Falcon and Admiral Akbar lol so many scenes...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dddAi8FF3F4 Edited June 19, 2012 by Lordmandeep
Punishment
The original Star Wars and Indiana jones trilogies are very overrated.
4815162342
The space battle in ROTJ is really great, but it's actually fairly short since they're cross-cutting with the forest moon battle and the throne room confrontation.Just imagine if we got a space battle in ROTJ with all the focus we got with the Death Star 1 battle in Episode IV. It would have been a gorgeous and amazing experience.

chasmmi
The Jurassic Park Sequels are great entertainment second time around when you are not building yourself up for a fall anymore.Russell Crowe's best film was A Good YearAlien 3 was a good MovieDeathly Hallows part one is an immense disappointment after the preceeding movies (which were all great) and the story did not need to be a two parter, it could all have been made into one 135min film.HItchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy needs a sequel. Jawa
The Social Network didn't deserve any Oscar nominations, except MAYBE screenplay.District 9 didn't deserve any Oscar nominations, except MAYBE visual effects.War Horse is one of Spielberg's best films. Its classical, timeless storytelling, and is a movie I predict will age very well.Amistad is better than Schindler's List. So is Munich, for that matter.Quantum of Solace, while not as good as Casino Royale (its hard to top perfection), is a Bond film that took many bold risks and is definitely worthy of praise.Goblet of Fire is the worst Harry Potter movie, DH1 is the best.Superman Returns was better than either of Singer's X-Men moviesX2 is, at best, slightly above average as a superhero film.Captain America > TDKThe Star Wars prequels are good films.TDKR's trailers have been quite underwhelming considering the hype. I want some PLOT. You can throw as many action scenes into a trailer as you want, but I'm not sold until I see there's a story worth telling.Tom Cruise is one of the least likable actors in the industry. I'm not even talking about the scientology thing, or jumping on Oprah's couch. I mean his whole onscreen persona. There is no quicker way to get me to root against a character than to have him played by Tom Cruise.
YoursTruly
The Godfather is boring. Brando's performance is one-note. Return of the King is also boring, probably due to the fact that it's overlong and overwrought. Casino is better than Goodfellas. Titanic is hackneyed, ham-fisted film-making with pretty visuals. Avatar is hackneyed, ham-fisted film-making with pretty visuals. Inception is overrated. It's also pretentious, pseudo-clever, and contains a mishmash of themes and plot devices that have been done better in other movies.
Moviedweeb
Batman Begins > The Dark KnightThe Hangover Part II is a great comedy and as funny as the first (saying it is a carbon copy is not a valid criticism of the film although I can see why some would be disappointed--they did want another Hangover though...IMany of the young actors who are very successful but often disliked (Shia Labeuof, Kristen Stewart, Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Jesse Eisenberg) are quite talented. Actually Jesse Eisenberg is pretty annoying. Prometheus is one of the best sci-fi movies ever made and possibly the most mind-blowing (on par with 2001).Attack of the Clones is visually spectacularDamon Lindelof is pretty brilliantTV:Breaking Bad jumped the shark towards the end of season 4 (thought it was absolutely brilliant up until then)LOST is amazing up until the season 5 finale (season 6 ruined the show for me despite many great and complete stories being told over the 6 seasons)Dexter will never be as good as its first season (still very enjoyable). chasmmi
Oh yes and Kung Fu Panda 2 should have got the Animated FIlm Oscar this year.Possibly in the top 10-12 animated movies of all time. (I mean specifically English language and animation aimed at young audience.)Lost in Translation is an atrocious piece of filmmaking on every level.
