keysersoze123
Idk what to say about that. I've only followed the box office for a year and a half but I've never seen presales being bigger on sunday morning compared to saturday morning. you should know. I was just looking at data from 2 years back.
Rsyu
My prediction for today - 1.21M admissions. I like your optimism but it's too high I think. It will most likely be similar to yesterday which is still fine considering most films drop quite a bit on Sunday.
druv10
Rsyu, will they keep reporting each milestone? 4M, 5M extra?
Rsyu
Rsyu, will they keep reporting each milestone? 4M, 5M extra? Yeah, they report every 1M barrier it crosses.

I know that but I'm hoping this breaks the 'average movie' style of run and comes out to surprise us . Actually I'd be pretty happy with even just 1.1M too though. keysersoze123
Excellent number. Let us see how monday is. Should gross 500K+? One interesting thing is presales went as low as 304K few hours back but since then is going up slowly. Currently its almost 318K. Rsyu
Relax guys, movies always decrease on Sunday except in very rare occasions. Doesn't signal anything about word of mouth. Mondays number will be telling more.
Cynosure
It depends on how movies generally behave in this market. In Japan a daily decline of 13% on a sunday would be a bad sign for legs but how does it work in SK ? Is sunday stronger than saturday on average or the opposite ? edit : Thanks for the answer Rsyu. Infernus
What multiplier should be expected? 100m would require greater than 3.5.

Rsyu
what is considered to be good vs bad monday drop. Especially as its part of long weekend( May Day). May day is on May 1st which is a Friday not monday. Drops on monday will be pretty huge given that it's a workday. Hoping for 350-450K tbh anything else would be bad word of mouth.
