From the first 4 days plus Mon PS I think it’s safe to say an 11-14 mil finish. Personally thinking toward the higher end, bon’t go narrower until more data. Of course that’s the difference between HW #5 and HW #1, so either way — spectacular. Sat-Sun in particular are the most impressive Sat-Sun I know of, and being 2.5x OD+Fri is a clear indication that this is a weekend heavy film and data from at least next Sat will be needed before we know how it’s holding.

Yep weekends will be so important for this movie. If it can get good holds in it's 3 and 4th weekend it could go 14m.

Second weekend should be good (almost all large movies have a good second weekend), the third weekend is where you can see the real legs I think.

So maybe 355 or so in the end, a nice -77%. PSm slightly more than doubled and CGV ratio was also a bit better than my morning projection.

Tuesday the PSm normally drops slightly, maybe 3.3. Tues CGV PS are 50k, so that would give 165k or so final CGV for a nearly flat 340k or so final day. Good sign for legs if it hits that.

That also leaves about 200 of the 315 overall presales unaccounted for. Thinking a lot are on Culture Day and the Wed CGV PS might come in 120+

Incidentally I notice that this means F2’s 5-day just slightly edges out IW’s 5-day open. Will fall behind soon as IW’s first week has Labor Dah, but may regain the lead by Sun if things drop nicely.

Frozen 2 has the 4th highest OW for a Foreign movie and 6th highest overall (I think)

Endgame - 6.308m (5 days)

Infinity War - 4.764m (5 days)

Spider-man FFH - 4.520m (6 days)

Frozen - 4.437m (4 days)

Note that Frozen 2 had a 4 day OW whereas others had 5-6 days OW. If Frozen 2 had a 5 day OW it woud have easily overtaken Infinity War, Spiderman FFH and Roaring Current for top 3-4 OW of all time.

Culture day should do over 500k admission easily. Also we should see big ps gain in the next few days. Before the weekend it should try to hit 600k in ps's. It's could also be that it isn't as ps driven as TS4 was, daily walk ups have been good so far.

It also helps that Into the Unknown is ranking high in digital charts.

CGV PSm dropped to about 3.1, so around a 9% drop. Totally fine.

CGV PS for culture day are a massive 152k. At minimum it should do 2x and 50% ratio for low 600s, but I think 700 or even 700+ are pretty possible. I wonder what the current non-OD culture day record is.

Final number yet?

Nope, will go a bit over 600k. I underestimated how presale heavy culture day would be, but still a spectacular schoolday for it.

CGV PS for Thursday is 50k again, should get the 8-day cume  just U/O 6M.

Also KOBIS PS are already at 450k, so about 350k of that should be banked up for FSS. @pepsa when you said we should try to bank up 600 before the weekend did you mean before Fri or before Sat?

And we hope that this will double in the final for the total of 12M ad

Before Sat so it's going to fly past :)

That said F2 will need not just good but great weekends if it want's to push 12m +
