Chewy
Absolutely true. The moment Universal moved Ted, it was clear it was cracking $100M. I thought it was cracking 100 regardless. It wouldn't have gone very far above 100M at its original date, however
baumer
Looking at Transformers 3 first Monday, it fell 55%, everything else pretty much fell less than 50%.http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?track=horriblebosses.htm&sortdate=2011-07-18&p=.htm
Gopher
We've always said that Spidey needs to get as much money as possible before July 20th, but according to this Monday hold it won't be much of a weekday movie, which is problematic. At least it's already made 140m. RTX
But the first Monday was July 4th...can't use that one. TF3 grossed over 10.3M on its second Wednesday. TASM will do half that number.
Fakhir
TASM frontloading, great for Ted.
Ezen Baklattan
Magic Mike & Katy Perry were the only films to avoid a 50% drop yesterday. Monday must have been down for most films.

doublejack
Actually, he overestimated Spidey again.1. You're going to gripe about 100k? Seriously??2. ERC's number is just an estimate. So why are you sure RTH is the one who is off?TASM frontloading, great for Ted.The Twiderman moniker might be more appropriate than we know, as it appears TASM could be just as frontloaded as Twilight films are.The target audience for those flicks (women) tend to go see movies during the weekdays. Is this because there are still women out there who don't work? Or they have the summer off, perhaps teachers? I never got why female oriented movies do better during the week.
fishstick
That is terrible for TASM.I`m happy for MovieMan89. It`s his Shriekapoo.
Ezen Baklattan
The target audience for those flicks (women) tend to go see movies during the weekdays.True, but so do plenty of kids films. Madagascar & Brve both dropped nearly 55%.
Letsuseournoggin
Spidy = underwhelmingBrave = bad sign. This thing's legs have slowed to developing slight cankles. Compared to WallE and Rat, this is bad because although those movies had lower totals at the same point in their respective runs, they have now slightly surpassed Brave in dailies as of now.Ted = overwhelming success. This has essentially been slightly behind Brave through the same days in its run in terms of total gross and Brave is hitting 200. Unless Ted's legs get killed, it's hitting 200 IMO.
