WB usually embargoes their movies until the week of release. It happened with Mad Max earlier this summer, for example.

Yeah, they need to get on with releasing reviews now. It's barely a recognized property, can't rely on an inbuilt fanbase to get WOM going.

WB has been giving this a very big TV push the past few days (and more importantly, the ads promise a fun movie) and are even giving it an IMAX release. If the reviews are good, a mid-20s opening shouldn't be difficult to achieve.

The US Premiere is tomorrow, most likely that is also the embargo date. It has been playing all over the US the past few weeks (I had passes for last Wednesday), there are enough public reviews on RT and Letterboxd if you are interested. Based on audience reaction so far, I would say RT will be somewhere in the 60s. The early consensus is that it is fun but not especially a memorable movie.

Seeing this on Wednesday.  First trailer was good.  Second was terrible.  Hoping for the best.

I don't know why anyone is expecting this to be bad. The footage is really good and I bet it is one of Guy Richie's best films to date. I expect a certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
