For big openers [AIW as an example in their local currencies in millions] : USA: Friday is biggest, Sat drop, Sun drop [106.3 + 82.1 + 69.2] China: Friday, Sat is biggest, Sun drop (unless wom is off the roof) [71.3 + 79 + 52] India: Friday, Sat flat (sometimes a bump), Sun is biggest [313 + 305 + 325] 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Saturdays used to bump 15 years ago when there was only midnights and they were small. It needs 3.27 times this gross to hit 500M, same as what BP did after this point Going by 4:30 midpoint, it has added 145M for the day so far, so it should finish with 214+145+145 = 504M It is headed straight towards 500M, but if the pace doesn't pick up now, it might fall short. To get to 500 it would need to maintain its 20/hr rate till 10pm which is difficult unless the rate improves over the next couple of hours. Sunday multi will have to be higher than Saturday to get to 30% drop. Good news is that Sunday multis are usually better than Saturday.
