TUE > MON in pre-sale. I guess SW7 non-holiday/non-opening TUE record is done

Just realized if Tuesday increases then it should hold close to 200m against OUaT. The weekend maybe down just 10-20% however monday will be -40% WoW as the drop should normalize to -55% from sunday.

So 2B+ thru thursday. 30% drop next week from 1.9b Fri-thu.  1.33b for next week. 3.33b total at end of week 2.  50% drops onward bring in 4.6b.

If demand hits a wall then 4b.

Ill go with 4.4b/$653m as an early guesstimate. Will update that after thursdays number. Could drop it to 4b or increase it to 5b.

Yes... second weekend drop may under 10% from the first 3-day weekend.

Really. Itll be close to 2b on thursday then.

5b/$738m possible unless they run out of people.:D

Whats the average ticket price. 150m tickets is possible i guess.

WOW, really uncharted territory then, this is very exciting, we'll see if they run out of people ;)

The Mermaid made ¥277m = $42.15m(¥272m = $41.44m without MN) on MON, which is the first day of CNY holidays. ¥243.73m = $37.09m on TUE.

My bad. I did not know that. Thank you for the info :)

Wow, to think Jing Wu (Jacky Wu) was once an underrated martial artist that only martial arts fans knew...

Now he's directed and starred in possibly the biggest Chinese movie of all-time! :ohmygod:

For those who are curious, you can witness his amazing skills in the following clip (and also note how incredible Donnie Yen is):

Good for him! I'll be watching it when it arrives in Canada.
