China Box Office Thread | Oppenheimer-August 30

Recommended Posts

Current score of 9.2 on Maoyan for Bumblee, if it can maintain above 9 over the weekend, the multiplier should be quite strong. At least it brings some life to China’s box office and the recent flood of bad local movies.

Wonder what will Creed 2’s score be; I have seen it - really very slow moving movie with a feeling that nothing is at stake; 8.5 will be my guess

Is there a chance for AQM and ITSV to regain some screens if BB's OD is that small, then?

Their PTA's are average for holdovers, they wont be getting back very many this weekend.

AQ crashed Vm dailies.

BB crashed AQ.

So goes china

$300m is finally dead.  $285-290m.

Creed II flops hard in China with 3-4 mill $ OW and less than 10 mill total is to be expected.

Hell. Aquaman beats it today even with a huge screenloss
