Don't you know that CBMs are the only things that exist anymore?

When I see comments like those, the unwritten thing is "Why don't you make something I would watch instead of your passion projects?"

Pour one out for Hellboy 3

Now yall just need to admit to yourselves that the first was terrible too, a real low point for GDT

I admitted it when I saw it.

Considering it's a good 22 minutes shorter than the first film, for it to have pacing issues is never a good sign.

Going by the trailers there seems to be only one big setpiece in the movie which is what they are using to sell it, unlike the first one which had multiple battles scattered throught the movie.

I got a feeling this is another result of a limited budget.

I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth. Have seen Crimson Peak.  That's a bad movie

It's so dull

IE. "Crimson Peak has no big monsters and destruction in it, therefore it is dull".

I don't think Crimson Peak was a complete success, but IMHO it was a lot more interesting then "Pacific Rim".

Pacific Rim is by my favorite Del Toro movie as well, as is many others.

I guess something that depends on charecters and story rather then fancy special effects and big monster fights  is a bit beyond many people;s ability to grasp.

Hopefully people likt that will grow up some day.
