BOF's 15 Best Films Of 2012. (TDKR Tribute On Pg. 19!)

I think it comes down to whether or not you bought Bardem as the second coming of Heath Ledger. I found him more of a wannabe, so I thought Skyfall was just alright. Dench and Craig were easily bigger highlights IMO.

Agreed I though Bardem was good but I found him to be wannabe. Ledger watched a Clock Work Orange for inspiration for the Joker but I do think he is Alex DeLarge copy cat when I watch the TDK, I find his role to be unique.

Lmao my list was way too late!TDKR #1!?Someone PM BKB this thread.BTW, Spaghetti, I understand you probably didn't like TDKR and all but it wasn't cool to announce it being #1 like that. It's not fair to people who actually ranked it as their #1 film. :)

It's not like I was the only person annoyed about it. The spirits across the board were pretty bleak when it was found out what the number one is. Besides, I've worked on this list for five hours. I was pretty cranky! However, I'm still a reasonable guy.

1. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (Directed By Christopher Nolan ) - 190 Points

Posted Image

Nolan ended one of the most impressive trilogies of filmmaking with a film that didn't sore quite as high as past predecessors, but was still a good film in its own merits. Go Batman!

So Amour isn't showing at my local art house next week, but Holy Motors is! :hi5:

Hope you love it. It really is a magnificent movie. Would've easily topped my list any normal year but this year has just been extraordinary with 2013 looking to be even better.

Holy Motors deserves to top any list any year! Tis a very strong year though. I'd be comfortable calling any film in my top 10 my 'favorite' movie of the year.
