Even ST09 did the 7M from preview+midnight. Date change or not, just no way it falls to the 3M+ range. So Maybe something is wrong outside the date bump.

"Star Trek Into Darkness" has launched with $2 million from Wednesday night screenings at 336 Imax 3D theaters and some midnight shows, Paramount Pictures reported.

 

It is still unclear where these $2M generated ... IMAX screens only or national wide including 2D ?
