It Wont but it wont increase dramatically either. 

 

ST 09 increased 1%.

 

 

Conisdering its a more frontloaded era I think Friday will be automatically busy it wont increase like a Marvel movie.

Indiana Jones 4 had a very "disappointing" start on thursday (even though it was longer planned and marketed like this). I wouldn't write Star Trek off, yet.

Yep. I brought this up earlier as well. But its disappointing number was 25 mill which equates to about 30 mill today. Trek wont do half that.

I think a 2PM update on Thursday with not many references to other movies for a thursday opening is not enough to convince me that it's doing only 14m today.
