Tatum will be fine, the movie's failure won't rest on him. Getting better as an actor but still pretty deficient in dramatic scenes. At least you can appreciate his effort, and his comedic timing is getting pretty good.

If there's an underrated Pirates movie, IMO, it's Dead Man's Chest. But I think most of the hate it gets is from online anyway, so, whatevs.

DMC is so much fun. Defines a summer blockbuster.

 

OST on the other hand, is so forgettable. I don't remember any scene, apart from the mermaid attack.

It's awful. I only really liked COTBP. DMC was okay to good. AWE was bad but bearable. OST I walked out of.

It gets a lot of hate too, but narratively, it has more problems than DMC. I still enjoy AWE, but it wasn't quite the finale it could have been. And I say that as a huge defender of that trilogy.
